Step Into Success is a community initiative led by the Kiwanis Club of Victorville to provide new shoes to students in the Victor Elementary School District as they prepare for middle school.

We know something as simple as a new pair of shoes can make a meaningful difference. Our goal is to help students begin this next chapter feeling comfortable, confident, and ready for everything ahead.

How It Works

Selected students are invited to participate in a special shopping experience at WSS Victorville, where they have the opportunity to choose a new pair of shoes that fits both their needs and their personal style.

We are incredibly grateful to the WSS team for their partnership and support of this initiative. Their staff welcomes our students with care, patience, and enthusiasm, helping make the experience easy, positive, and fun for every family who participates.

  • Step Into Success is funded through the generosity of local donors, businesses, and community members who believe in investing in children right here in the Victor Valley.

    Every contribution helps us provide more students with the essentials they need while reminding them that their community is cheering them on.

    There is no cost to participating families for shoes provided through the program.

  • For us, this initiative is about more than footwear.

    It is about helping young people feel prepared for an important transition. It is about building confidence before the first day of middle school. And it is about showing students that people throughout their community believe in their future.

    Thanks to our donors, volunteers, school partners, and the wonderful team at WSS Victorville, we are able to turn that belief into something students can take with them every step of the way.
